The Final Curtain – December 2017

The Final Curtain - December 2017

It's hard to believe but it's the last month in 2017. That's why this month's theme is “The Final Curtain.” Just like any good book, while it starts. It eventually has to come to an end. The end of the year is always an exciting time because there's energy that comes from closing a chapter and starting a new one. In addition to the holidays, many businesses will end their fiscal year and start a new chapter when the clock strikes 2018.

In 2018, some businesses will end and some new ventures will start. There will be innovation and new ideas that emerge. There will be better mousetraps. The most important thing, especially as business leaders, that we remember is to stay present. It's so easy to forget that there's 31 days left in the month. So let's celebrate 2017 and enjoy time with our family and friend. Let's reflect this season on our lessons learned and and forget our “mistakes” made.

For us at CBNation, look for a preview of 2018. Some of the things that we are excited about include CBNation TV and CEO Chat–our podcast. Look for more content from us including interviews, profiles, guest posts and more. During this year, we have continued to innovate, integrating Blue 16 Media on our sites, building our Facebook Group, adding CEO Web Shop to support your web needs like buying domains.

I also took a painful break from CBNation this year so that I could focus purely on Blue 16 Media. As frustrating as it was, it was time to make sure that both entities were built to grow simultaneously. As we continue to adapt, look for us to continue to build our media company by creating quality content for you–entrepreneurs and business owners.

More importantly we will hear from you, look for roundups with you explaining why you're thankful, what your best business accomplishments have been this year and of course what you're looking forward to next year.

Many of you may take a break but many others will use the down time to get ahead. Wherever your plans, we hope you have a happy and safe December and start to 2018.
