Every so often, we have to recalibrate our businesses. Sometimes it happens organically and other times it is scheduled.
For us, it was more the former rather than the latter.
It became evident as we asked…what are we REALLY doing?
While we know we are a platform that has content for entrepreneurs and business owners and even at Blue 16 Media we provide resources that help out business owners, we continue to refine our focus, our brand and our messaging.
About 3 years ago, this month, I wrote a blog post announcing that we were “Powered by Blue 16 Media” and merging the brands of Blue 16 Media and CEO Blog Nation. At that time, the pivot was becoming more and more efficient and effective as a holistic brand. On a tactical level, it meant a change in the logo to incorporate the blue from Blue 16 Media and the hyperlinks at the bottom of the post. On a more strategic level, it meant merging the brands and everything they symbolize under one umbrella.
Even today, the brands continue to merge and align themselves (most evident in the launch of the I AM CEO Podcast) for one common vision which we now have clarity on–to increase the business success rate. How do we do that–our mission–to increase the business success rate by providing (#1) visibility and (#2) support for CEOs, entrepreneurs and business owners.
Think about the things we provide currently include:

A majority of the content is a mix of one or both as you can see above but we came to the realization that by helping increase the visibility (the name of the game is often being found) and providing resources we are increasing the likelihood of success.
